Welcome on Johnny's site

Op deze site is veel informatie te vinden omtrent het Zweedse truck, bus en personenwagenmerk Scania. Mijn interesse gaat vooral uit naar de oudere trucktypes met name de series voor de 3 serie, de echte oldtimers dus. O.a restauratieprojecten door enthousiaste liefhebbers die het oudere materiaal graag rollend willen houden, en behouden, met foto's van de restauratie. kijk eens rond op mijn site en u zult wellicht ook aangetrokken worden en misschien ook besmet raken door het Scania virus zoals ik.

Er is ook een site met verhalen van mijzelf uit de tijd (21,5 jaar) dat ik beroepschauffeur ben geweest, zowel Nationaal als Internationaal, genaamd: Story's. Dit zijn reisverslagen die ik op een humoristische wijze heb geschreven. Lees de verhalen eens en je komt te weten wat een "Delftsche Camioneur" meegemaakt heeft op zijn reizen naar verre oorden. Want wie verre reizen maakt..... is dus weinig thuis.

In het verleden ben ik lid geweest van "De Truckers Club Holland" (TCH) en ik heb daar ook een aantal jaren voor gepubliceerd. De TCH bestaat helaas niet meer.
Mijn pseudoniem bij de TCH was: "Johnny The Bulldog", TCH 1962.

In the past I was a member of the "Truckers Club Holland" named the TCH. I published my storys in there magazine under my nickname: "Johnny The Bulldog". The TCH, unfortunely, doesn't exist anymore.

Sinds 23 april 2000 ben ik echter geen chauffeur meer maar technisch administrateur en plv. receptionist/partsmanager bij Scania-Beers Bedrijfswagens B.V. in Waddinxveen. Op de sites Beers en Scania, is informatie beschikbaar omtrent deze dealer en het Zweedse truckmerk. Bezoek de site Oldtimers eens als je geïnteresseerd bent in Scania's van ver uit de vorige eeuw.

I' am since april the 23rth 2000 no longer a lorrydriver. I' am now a technical administrator at a Scania workshop in Waddinxveen at the Grocery Market "Doelwijk". On my sites Scania and Oldtimers you can find information about Scania and Oldtimer Scania's.

My Old-timer site is constantly under construction You can find there a lot of information and photographs of Scania Oldtimers. For example: a site with wunderful information and pictures about the Scania luxury cars wich Scania has build in the early 20's.
